유튜브 CC 자동 번역 자막 vs. 전문 번역 서비스 자막 비교

• 2019-08-27 09:14 이번에 유튜브 영상을 만들면서 자막을 어떻게 넣어야 할지 많이 고민했는데 그 해답이 여기​에.
  힘들여 동영상 편집기에서 자막을 하나하나 넣을 필요가 없을 듯(하면서도 ‘이게 최선인가’ 싶었다;;).
  게다가 자막을 자동으로 켜는 태그가 있었다니!
  (영상 태그에 yt:cc=on 을 넣는다.)
  번역 서비스도 좋은 거 같다. 한번 써봐야지.

• 2019-08-29 12:53 지난번에 이 영상​ 보고 유튜브 크리에이터 스튜디오에서 영상에 일단 한글 자막을 넣었다. 그러면 이 자막이 세계 각국 언어로 자동 번역되어 제공되는데, 번역된 영문 자막을 살펴보니 그리 나쁘지 않았다. 아마 원문에 쓰인 어휘들이 대부분 영어로 된 앱에서 쓰이는 용어들이고 영미권의 다른 유튜브 영상에도 많이 나오는 내용들이라 그런 듯.
  
  그리고 영상에 소개된 '컨텐츠 플라이'라는 사이트에서 인간 번역가가 해준다는 유료 서비스를 신청해서 하루만에 번역본을 받아봤다. 최소 금액인 55000 포인트를 결제하고 그 중 2만 얼마를 쓴 듯. 그런데...ㅜㅜ
  
  생각보다 번역 품질이 너무 낮아서 영상에 올릴 수가 없다. 자동 번역된 쪽은 약간 어색하긴 해도 콩글리시 느낌은 없는데 컨텐츠 플라이 번역은 이제 막 영어 공부를 시작한 한국 사람이 번역한 듯한 느낌? 아니면 이제 막 말 배우는 미국 꼬마가 일기 쓴 느낌?('I'가 계속 나와;;; 적절히 생략하고 적절히 수동태를 써주는 게 자연스러운데...) 그리고 번역하기 애매한 부분은 두세군데 맘대로 빼버리셨네.
  
  게다가 사이트를 아무리 뒤져봐도 결제하고 남은 금액을 어떻게 돌려받을 수 있는지 나와있지 않아서 '문의하기'에 문의를 남겨두었고...
  영문 자막은 그냥 구글 자동번역본 조금 손봐서 올려야할 듯.
